Typical Applications
Spherical adsorbent for the removal of HCl from various gas and liquid process streams. Specially formulated to provide high chloride loading while inhibiting the formation of “green oil” and organic chlorides. Particularly effective in reforming operations.

Storage:
The material is stored in its original containers/packaging in a dry, covered location protected
from the ambient environment
• The material is protected from direct exposure to sunlight and rain (prolonged exposure to
direct sunlight may degrade the packaging)
• The material is not subjected to temperatures exceeding 450°F/230°C while in storage
• The material is stored elevated off the ground to ensure that there is no exposure to liquid
water
• Once the material is loaded into the vessel, a thorough nitrogen purge is recommended to
remove excessive free moisture
• Desiccant products intended for regenerative service will require a complete thermal
regeneration cycle (in TSA service) or several pressure swing cycles (in PSA service) before full
activity is restored
