The Catylen® S 100 series of materials consists of various magnesium ethanolate based support precursors for the manufacture of Ziegler/Ziegler-Natta catalysts. Specific grades are available for different types of industrial polymerization processes.
Products of the Catylen® S 100 series are only sparingly soluble in hydrocarbons and ethers. They are soluble in some alcohols with a simultaneous exchange of alkoxy groups.

Storage:
- The drums must remain tightly sealed during storage, protected from freezing, not exposed to direct sunlight and stored in a dry place.
- The product is stable for a minimum of 12 months from date of delivery in its original sealed packaging.
- The product should be protected against exposure to air and moisture.
Packaging:
- Products of the Catylen® S 100 Series are delivered in 50 kg / 110 lb steel drums.
- For large volumes special packaging is available upon request.
Shelf life:
