Dynocel HG is a co-formed metal oxide promoted activated alumina for the removal of mercury from vapor or liquid phase hydrocarbon streams. The metal oxide promoter is distributed homogenously throughout the adsorbent sphere providing uniform and predictable utilization of the Dynocel HG.
Dynocel HG offers high attrition resistance, high mechanical strength and high mercury adsorption capacity.
Typical Applications
Mercury removal to <10 nanograms/Sm3 from vapor or liquid hydrocarbon streams such as LNG or natural gas.

Storage:
The material is stored in its original containers/packaging in a dry, covered location protected
from the ambient environment
• The material is protected from direct exposure to sunlight and rain (prolonged exposure to
direct sunlight may degrade the packaging)
• The material is not subjected to temperatures exceeding 450°F/230°C while in storage
• The material is stored elevated off the ground to ensure that there is no exposure to liquid
water
• Once the material is loaded into the vessel, a thorough nitrogen purge is recommended to
remove excessive free moisture
• Desiccant products intended for regenerative service will require a complete thermal
regeneration cycle (in TSA service) or several pressure swing cycles (in PSA service) before full
activity is restored
